Etiquette Air is a self directed, three week project that critiques public behavior through the lens of etiquette on airplanes. Using visual storytelling, it reimagines the traditional flight safety pamphlet to highlight modern-day social misconduct drawing humorous comparisons to 16th-century French court customs.
Illustrated in a red, blue, and white palette referencing etiquette’s aristocratic roots, the project calls attention to everyday rudeness, from loud passengers to disregard for personal space. By framing bad manners as a form of self absorption, the work invites reflection and encourages more mindful behavior in shared environments.
